This workshop is perfect for you if you enjoy feeling unbothered by the world around you and are looking for a way to let go and allow the mind and body to return to a blissful neutral state.
Join Shani Chernoski for an evening of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. This workshop will be two hours long and you will feel deeply relaxed and reset.
Yin Yoga is a slower-paced, meditative style of yoga that stretches and targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, muscles, fascia, and ligaments throughout the body. While holding poses for longer periods of time, this may increase circulation and mobility in joints, improve flexibility, and improve energy flow. Yin Yoga gives you the opportunity and space to go inward and tune into both your mind and physical sensations to create a more calm and balanced being.
The term Yoga Nidra means yogic or psychic sleep. It is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, induced by a guided meditation. It is said that 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra gives your body the same benefits as two hours of sleep.
